Admiral Kuznetsov" Berangkat Menuju Suriah

MOSCOW, KOMPAS.com - Russia's Defense Ministry said a convoy of Russian warships led by the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov has been dispatched to the Mediterranean Sea, on Tuesday (06/12/2011).

Russian media said the Defense Ministry of Russia (Russia Kemenhan) states that it will stop the convoy ships in the port of Tartus in Syria to fill their logistical needs.

Some Russian television stations showed images of the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier sailed left Severomorsk, the Russian Northern Fleet base in the Arctic region, near the city of Murmansk, northwest Russia. The ship was scheduled to meet the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and the Admiral Chabanenko destroyer in the Mediterranean.

Missile frigate is scheduled to dock at the port of Cyprus, Malta, France, and Spain.

One team is included in the ship's anti-terror, to maintain the security of the ship during the past few strait connecting the Black Sea with the Mediterranean Sea, and anchored in the harbor for foreign countries.
