Kabul - Two bomb attacks have killed at least 59 people and injured hundreds in Afghanistan. This attack coincided with the anniversary of the Shia Muslims, Ashura.

The two cities are becoming the target of a bomb this time was the capital city of Kabul and the north of Mazar-i-Sharif.

All the victims who died were Shia Muslims. They were killed while walking to the mosque to perform the ritual lamentation, a ritual that must be done in the feast of Ashura.

"All who died were the Shiites. They're going to do one in the Ashura ritual," said a spokesman for Kabul province, Munir Ahmad Farhad.
